Memories Beyond the Door

Some memories we have are good,
Some memories we have are bad,
Some memories make us happy,
Some memories make us sad.

Memories of loved one's who have already passed,
there are one's we will always remember,
and some that will never last.

Some memories we will dwell on and will rock us to the core,
Some may never come out from behind that locked door.

Memories can be dear and you hold close to your heart,
while others will consume you and tear you apart.

Some memories will make you strong,
Some memories will make you weak,
Some memories you have to hide,
Some memories you have to seek.

Never lose the key to your locked door of memories.

And sometimes we learn not to dwell on the bad ones since we can't change them. Congratulations on your win. Love, Joyce

Looking back into the past means more each passing day. Lessons learned and a heart that yearned have helped us find our way. The solemn truth of mistic dreams can show us worlds beyond. Where love is all that we need share to keep eternal bond. Peace. :)

Hi Coleen, sorry I couldn't read till now, long day at the office. Month end. I enjoyed your poem. Third stanza first line, consider replacing you with us. You started plural so should continue this line the same way. Thanks for your visits today, have a good night.
