Memories

Sitting here I’m feeling blue, Sadness floods my mind. And it’s because I’m missing you. Your death was so unkind Leaving us was not your choice, But leaving you must do, Leaving us you had no voice, For God had called for you. Your memories still fill the rooms, Your love still lingers there, The happiness that you brought still consumes, It was your gift to share. Although you’re gone from our sight, Your presence is still felt everywhere, We think about you day and night, Your love remains for us to share. Until that day we can join with you, We’ll just have to keep going on till then, And living right we must do, So we can all embrace once more again.
