Memories

Unanswered questions, moments all to vague
Waiting for a reason, my heart can’t take
Not a minute more without you, your arms my save haven
And just another day, another memory I am saving.

Your face like an angel, guiding me to the light
Your smile like a fire, shining in me bright
Your words like sugar, softly melting in my heart
Waiting for that precious moment we don’t have to be apart.

Nights have gone, days are lost
Whatever it takes, whatever it costs
I’ll be all to anxious, till the words are said
But then again, who knows – I’ll get you yet.

For love is sweet, but it brakes even the best
I know I’ll survive, cause this time I’ll be less
Just a glimpse, a wink, a dazzling smile
Will last me more than this lifetime.
