Memories
Looking back at times we've shared,
knowing how you've always cared.
Memories shared you can't erase,
smiling as I see your face.
No one can ever take this away,
for in my heart you'll always stay.
To keep inside you can't go wrong,
and here I've kept you all along.
Thinking of you, times we've had,
even times when we've been sad.
Glad to have you in my heart,
I've kept you there from start.
Even though at times I've cried,
in my heart I know you tried.
You did your best to make me smile,
even if for just a while.
Still my friend you'll always be,
the greatest memory kept in me.
