Memories

memories rebound one by one
as I'm back home and
not on the run,

I recall a few luminous days
and I smile cuz we are not
on the run,

there in sweet Florida
where we tanned , loved
and had, fun...

My first husband and I, full of youthful innocence, decided to leave our state for life in Florida where a mobile home was a love nest and nature was our constant playground. Both still young enough to have our belief in 'happily ever after' untainted, we played untainted. This took me to those years where both my mind and heart are always willing, even eager, to go. I feel your poem is a gift to me and I embrace it. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Florida is a lot like Hawaii minus the alligators. We do you have to be careful of sharks and jellyfish. I can relate. xxoo

It sounds so innocent and simple, do you not wish to re-wind this clock?
