Memorial Day 2022
God Bless those men and women who serve our nation in her arm forces
God have mercy for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice
Memorial Day we honor the one million three hundred thousand
men and women who died in our nations wars
To remember is to honor
Fly the flag, hold parades, visit graves with flowers crosses and prayers
Celebrate with food and fire works
Celebrate with friends, family and being free
The men and women who kept our freedoms afar and near
From revolution, civil war and distant battlefields
remote beaches and foreign lands
Some way too young
Some too old
All too precious
As you bite down on that grilled hotdog
Take a moment, stop and reflect
Bow your head
Give a prayer
Reflect
Be grateful
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
