Memoirs of Day

The rise of the sun, As mists dance on the old pond: Entwined with the breeze. Glistening gardens, Flowers frolic in the wind: As birds chirp their hymns. The ivory clouds, Tickle the laughing mountain: While the meadow smiles. Flight of the red hawk, From the bare cotton wood tree: Soaring cobalt skies. The praising wheat fields, Worshiping the light of day: Sun kisses their brow. Sunset approaches, Pastel colors paint the sky: The earth bids goodnight.
