Melting Wedding Rings

The sunlight devoured the space within
The facets burned and blinded
Rivers of pale amber melted through
To bleed into the room behind.
The scene repeated as it gradually changed shape
Split seconds apart, but the same
Prisms and gold blend, and bond, as one
Like their hands entwined, betrothed rings shine.
