*I wrote this poem about my first love, back in 2019*

A cube of ice could have never known - What it is like to be melted while alone. In a world frozen, suspended in hate, Made as cold as is around him. It wasn't until a flame wandered by - That in his ignorance he began to understand. Even the graze of warmth could lead him to cry, He longs for her and all her warm presence. He becomes melted in a world of frost. He never knew that he was so lost, Not until he was finally found, By the beauty dancing before him, his flame.
