Melodies Linger

As a melody linger in her mind
       She holds her violin closely
As musical notes in black and white are defined

Soon, her violin buzzes with "Flight of The Bumblebee"
Her bow swift and bold, her smile coy
As she holds her violin closely

After that flight, a rendition of "Ode To Joy'
As her violin speaks to symphonies divine
Her bow swift and bold, her smile coy

Her violin exhales Beethoven's Sonata Number Nine
As she inhales the melodic flow
Her violin speaks to symphonies divine

While she deftly strokes her bow
She plays the classics great composers wrote
As she inhales the melodic flow

She sees the color of each musical note
As a melody lingers in her mind
She plays the classics great composers wrote
As notes in black and white are defined
