Two weekend ago, we were in the foothills, in an area called Apple Hill. And yes....the wind blew the apples off the trees, and there were apples ev'rywhere!! But it sure did smell good! Love your haiku, Nigel!! A nice fall feeling to it! ~ Carrie

As you may have noticed, haiku is one of my favorite forms of poetry. Wind is one of my favorite elements (second only to rain), and this haiku describes it so well. I love the image of "apples ev'rywhere"!
