With the beach 
In reach 
Reading the tourist billboards on the Interstate 
With a friendly mate 
Coming from the north 
For what it’s worth
Following the enchanting moon 
That will soon 
Hear the sound of breaking surf 
On the small city turf 
Near the river 
Melbourne USA is known for a nice place to have dinner 
Only a few miles from the ships 
Where Caribbean ports are its trips 
Cruising the water 
Touching the sands of Florida 
Neighboring rockets shoot into the air 
Destined for the heavens and the International galactic station we share 
Military flights patrol the friendly skies 
To the amazement to the shore worshippers giving sunbathing a try 
As for the hooks and bait 
What a catch one could make 
Casting a reel with the hope to bring back an appetizing meal 
If there is noise like thunder 
There could be a wonder 
About Andretti’s racing cars 
That has miniature golf where it’s fun to make par 
Or one could travel east 
For a different amusement tease 
Studios like Disney and Universal 
Call For a rehearsal 
Giving life to shows that everyone knows 
Sea World is a place to swim 
With dolphins who make the day a win 
It is no blunder 
Melbourne USA is not down under 
Instead it’s on a coast known for its space 
That puts a smile on everyone’s face
