Melancholy
MELANCHOLY
Spring of silence---
No bees,
No ants,
No birds,
No trees,
Silent indeed,
Spring for thee,
Melancholy,
Eden paved evermore,
What we see no more--
Bees no more,
Ants no more,
Birds no more,
Trees no more,
Air no more,
People no more,
All rat race stalled,
Paradise no more,
What was it all for?
