So now an ode to Asteroid, my familiar, my late great wolfy mutt. Again the "B" word, this time I have decided to use an acronym, I didn't create it so I don't know who to thank or give credit to. " Mega-----" was my old girls' very apt nickname; she demanded respect and of her vices was true. Obviously when you read the poem in your head, the acronym produces a better flow. Enjoy! Mo

What beauty in your vices my precious perfect Being In Total Control of Herself with flash of fang and hackle for those unruly pups amiss of which fashion to behave indeed too inbred to be phased by your stately curled lip perhaps that gene of language their generation skipped for I have heard it said that above all other primates you read body language best in my opinion better than most humans put to test.

Never had a dog, being a cat person; but this is an inventive tribute to one I know you loved. John

Thank you Cheryl :) In hind sight, she was my "master", teaching me much about myself. I am a student of animal behaviour, including us bald apes, which should probably explain most of my poetic ramblings. Glad you enjoyed xomo!
