Meeting of Minds
Come meet me at the merging
Of consciousness and dream;
Keep only what’s inside you,
And leave all other things
Tear off your vanities,
And strip away your fears;
Learn how to truly listen
With more than just your ears
Speak with an open spirit –
A portal to your soul
That mirrors your desires,
Your many thoughts and woes
Touch what your body can’t –
Recesses of the mind,
And travel down the pathways
That others cannot find
Stay close beside this crossing,
Of waking thought and sleep,
And you will fine’ly witness,
The happiness you seek.
