Meet You In Our Dreams

lips softly kiss your temple finding 
the gentle pulse of your heart...
I never felt closer to you as I 
do at this moment,deep emotions 
swell in my chest,never imagined 
I could kiss your beating heart...
It's rhythmic beat brought a 
calmness as I breathe you in...

your skin and hair smell of tropical 
sweetness...you told me that you 
loved coconuts because they smell 
like me...now I understand what 
you meant..you snuggle closer, 
kissing me as you nuzzle into my neck..
breathing a deep calm 

"You still awake babe?" You ask 
"Uh huh...meet you in our dreams!" 
I whisper 
you mumble something inaudible 
kissing my neck once more...... 

the warmth of your breath caressing
my flesh sending a chill through me....
If I died tonight I would die satisfied 
because right here, right now I felt 
a complete euphoria I never felt before....
soft bodies, pulsating hearts, warm breath...
I felt at peace as my eyes droop heavy 
and my lashes kiss my cheeks.....

we lay breathing each others warmth 
as our souls melt into one...one breath, 
one heart, one dream.......
smiling I softly sigh floating to meet 
you in our dreams...
