Meet a Genius

              The erstwhile poet chose
                to write hideous prose

              Narratives of mangled fingers
                 of twisted elbows linger

              Hardening readers’ hearts
though they could not bear to part

from every line the genius wrote
his brilliance in sickening verse cloaked

Perhaps you preferred 'Sick' Magazine to 'Mad' Magazine, David. Tough choice there. lol. ~ gw

Were I to write poetry the whole day, I'd be a basket case by night...

When the genius writes on the site, the Soup becomes a shining light. Her first name begins with B, the second with E, who on earth could it be… Beryl

What a puzzle you've handed me here, Beryl. I'll never figure it out. Ha, ha, Gershon
