Meerkats of South Africa

I had a most unique, unusual dream!
I woke, wide-eyed and there they stood!
Five meerkats, so darling, not made of cedar wood.



Of the notorious, great mongoose family are they.
Rodent eaters, and plants, by moonlight and day.
Traveling in packs of ten or more, to hunt and to play!

What IS it about meerkats that has made them such a popular item? To me they like smiling hyenas with an agenda. Oh, well. Happy dreams!

Answer. They do not kill people as humans do or cause war. They don’t do other things that are cruel Oh, I forgot, sorry,only talk about sweet, bunnies or cute, but nothing about the real word, verboten. I am 85years old, Happy-dreams )) for little kids in Jammie’s )) better say..hope-you live to see another day.))PS. I no longer dream. I once had dreams about life and goodness and a better planet. No more of that silliness .I threw in the towel on the family of man Prefer animals, they are sane!

Not a bad dream to have at all. It's funny that meerkats are similar to prairie dogs. A fun write, Pangie!
