Measured Moments
Even if cast into the river’s flow,
Measure it first, they say, before you let it go.
But how to measure—that’s where the strife,
Countless contradictions arise in life.
A millionaire with wealth untold,
Spends billions on a wedding, bold.
We criticize with envy and disdain,
Yet give our life’s savings to heirs, with no shame.
