Even if cast into the river’s flow, Measure it first, they say, before you let it go. But how to measure—that’s where the strife, Countless contradictions arise in life. A millionaire with wealth untold, Spends billions on a wedding, bold. We criticize with envy and disdain, Yet give our life’s savings to heirs, with no shame.
