Meant To Be
Stars that brighten the sky above
Hearts to symbolize everlasting love
Leaves that clothe the many trees
Tears to express sorrow and glee
Bees and the sweet honey they make
Salt and pepper to enhance the bake
Lightening strikes the thunder rolls
Sand to line the shore to stroll
Prickly thorns on a beautiful rose
Rainbows after the storm to close
Babies skin so kissably soft
Hammer and nails to build our loft
A canary and her sweet song to sing
Colorful flowers to bring on spring
All these wonders are meant to be
As I feel are you and me.
