Meaningless

~Ecclesiastes 1:14 I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are
meaningless, a chasing after the wind

When the colors fade
And my heart beat is skipping rhythm
Then dies away
The only thing that matters then
Is the Almighty's fortress reservation

for you don't know what is around the bend
When your life will be snatched away
Set your priorities straight

Life fades from view
what are we really to gain
But dust blowing away with the wind
Nothing worthwhile
Utterly meaningless banter

the tears of God when it rains
Mourning of the doom
And coming shame of the lost

What are we striving to achieve?
But goals for ourselves
Who gives a hoot
Whose care went faster
Or when a selfish goal was mastered
At the end of the world
Meaningless

What are we wanting?
What goals really mattered?
Wasting away our life
Pursue the dreams that count
In the long run

Don't lose sight of what is really important
What values and morals treasured
All carnal & earthly
Meaningless

Strive for more
Don't waste your life
Live in the moment & dream bigger
Than you thought possible

All other pursuits: meaningless
But God's purpose to fulfill
