Meandering

"Write a poem," they said.
I'd rather go home instead

What more can I give?
What else do you want from me?
If I'm supposed to live
Then just fu**en let me be

Goddamn; it you gotta be kidding me
I've given every ounce of energy

you act as if you deserve more
I can't give more if I'm dirt poor

So f**k what you say
Dream the rest away

It will not come to fruition
No matter the ammunition

But my focus must be set
And my aim must be correct
If Im not showing regret
It's cuz it wasn't ready yet

One shot is what I got
One shot to want for not
Or end up here to rot
Whats my point? I forgot
