Meander
I wonder when
I lost my way
if I could pinpoint
the time, the day
was it in that
bleak October
calculating
coldly sober
a stone was tossed
into life's pond
its ripples still
continue on
or maybe I was
meant to roam
to wander aimless
have no home
my sails were ripped
right from the start
on my birthday
the Ides of March
I wonder where
my path will end
in dappled sunlight
or darkened glen
will I find peace
among the stones
or haunt the earth
alone, alone.
