Meadow Sweet

My tiny daughter
Brenna
hails the morning

      out-stretched arms
        catch the breeze
she
twirls like a merry pinwheel
 dreamy lashed eyes closed
   head-cocked
   harmonizing
           birdsongs

Buttercup pollen
   kisses
pink
   toes
while the Sun
adores her
