Meadow Green

The sun was painting sunshine
As the bees played violin
In a meadow green sublime
Natures serenade then begin
As maestro took his place
There came a sudden hush
From the meadow’s quiet grace
Was the aria of a thrush
Soft pleasing notes they were
Filling the air like gentle rain
A breeze sang along with her
The meadow green’s refrain
