Me, the Mime

When I talk, no one seems to listen.

They notice my actions instead.

The thought of being alone, is what I dread.

I call for some affection...

The deaf ears of love can't hear me.

Am I wasting time?

Poor;lonely;me,the mime.

Damaged relationships makes

my heart's candle lose its flame.

Who is the one to blame?

I touch the hands of hope...

They can't feel me, they're paralyzed.

I'm a metronome that is out of time.

Lost;romantic;me, the mime.

My life has been a chain of broken promises.

A handful of lies that cut

like glass when I clench my fists.

I look for some protection...

The blind eyes of security can't see me.

Should I pretend that everything is fine?

I'm just a mixed-up mime.

" touch the hands of hope... They can't feel me, they're paralyzed." You have created some really amazing sentences, and I am thrilled I have found your poetry.
