I miss me at times, actually, I miss me, period. I have not been around for along time. Physically, yes I'm here, mentally, emotionally, I haven't been here. I've no one to blame but me for the absence I've lived since 1997. This poem helped me to see my actions that I've kept blind too. Thanks, me!

Me, Ole' Friend Sit down and rest my ole friend, take a seat and find yourself. Find yourself from, the day's journeys end! You seem to have lost yourself, you have grown tired and weary. Trying to be somebody, I wasn't meant to be. For other's expectations, for other's eyes to see. It's in their hearts, take a look, can't you see? I can see you in there, relax and breathe. - Slow down. - Look around. What do you see? Searching for who, you've always to be? -Me, an ole' friend.
