Me Myself and I and My Avatar

My avatar is when I was about seven or eight
Those were not my greatest years for me
So I display this picture to remind me
You see me myself and I were the only ones

Who would play with me so my imagination 
Ran away with the three of me
I stayed in my room for a fear I had inside
That this drunk man would find me

I could not sleep at night I had to have a night light
My mother worked all night
I dreamed of going here and going there
I once was a dragon slayer

I lived in my own little world that I never shared
Until I started to write poetry now I can go anywhere
That part of my life is over but it’s difficult to forget
Writing these words that I create and others read

Means the whole world to me
