Me, My Enemy

it was I a along,
me my enemy
it was raining ice
on my bed I thought
wishing my bucket be filled

me my enemy
only when the ice were gone
I staggered out with a small bucket
to collect what, one can ask?

me my enemy
before the tv I sit
by my books looking deserted and missing company
on the dawn
only to see questions I never read.

me my enemy
I ate my portion with more
after the first week
my cloths were needing change
looking back
I have always been my sole enemy

if I retire poor,
became like an elephant,
and my results in the matters of life is an 'F'
I was the architect.
now my eyes are open in the morning
to see that the enemy is Me.
