Me and my imaginary friends

me and my imaginary friends
sit at a picnic table
in Brighton

me and my imaginary friends
talk about our lives
Anything and everything

Me and my imaginary friends
don't laugh at each other because we can't spell

Some days
I wish
Those imaginary friends were real.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
