Notes About The Poem

Once upon a time I used to set up a career day at school for 400 boys and girls using every resource, favor, person, people, and especially the Student Council, whom I had groomed

in every way to help pull it off. We usually had between 37 and 48 speakers. Some parents, but also basketball stars, donut bakers, and cake decorators. I learned the hard way no one will visit the morticians, actuaries, or accounts, so don't bother to invite.

Dr. Cordova was one of my favorite people. I asked him what he was going to talk about.

Hypnotherapy. What is that? I asked. I was signed up that night for hypnotherapy school.

When we were hypnotising each other in seconds by the end of the first day I remembered i used to do this at Dr. Irene Hickman's house, and I loved her.  She had given me her book on hypnotherapy, but I thought it was hooey and threw it away. Was I ever surprised to learn after much research that Dr. Irene Hickman was one of three people who organized and started the HYPNOTHERAPY movement in the U.S. in the 70's. Am I bad or what?

Me and Dr Cordoba

Big giant thanks to Dr. Cordoba,

Who attended career day in Robe-A,

Went to school in the east,

Hypnotherapist beast.

We are licensed, Me and Dr. Cordo

this is so cool and I loved the note about it. I know it works, I just wish I could do it to myself!!!

it works so fast and so hard, I took the class with 6 other women, and the first day I thought "this is nuts. This won't work. I'm going to Arlington Cemetary and the White House if nothing happens by tomorrow. By 2 p.m. that same day I was instantly putting people in trances, and they were having me take off my clothes, stand in the middle of the table and sing Dixie. We were the closest knit group of women I've ever seen; it's like we had lived another lifetime together as sisters. One of the best experiences of my life, Andrea

I hypnotized a friend of mine when we were in high school. A bit frightening...would never do it again! I tried to be hypnotized in class, but my mind was having none of it...lol

Dementrios, I never remember all the things I can do; I surprise myself sometimes.
