Me Again

Rain pours and falls

As I stare at my walls

Creating worlds in designs

With the little bumps and lines

I can see it all so clear

But there’s a world already so near

I step out of my door

Thinking there must be more

As the rain hits my face

I lift my head up and embrace

Each droplet creating an ocean

Bringing out every emotion

Letting go of the past

I knew this feeling couldn’t last

On my face a smile is created

I am finally liberated

I am me again

A favorite of mine, the couplet form. Nicely done, Alexander.
