Me

Two Biblical characters stand out more than any other. Job relates to us the inner workings of his true soul. I learned from David the freedom to be and to reveal 'ME". I came to realize that 'a sick 'ME' could become a healed 'ME'. I am hot and I am cold, and I am also afraid and I am bold. I rejoice that I am sometimes young and energetic. I mourn at other times when I am old and lethargic. I occasionally long for yesterday and what use to be. I also yearn for tomorrow about what I can and will be. If I were able to go back, there would be some tears; I would be forced to shake hands with sadness and fears. And the mixed journey would offer ME only limited years. But going forward, I am linked to eternity with endless years. There were times when I probably wished that I was other than ME. But presently, I yearn for nothing less or more than what God has for ME. 080623PS
