Mcgee Late Night

McGee, was still a bit shaken
After, what happened at his home last night
A burglar entered his dwelling
Grabbed what he could then took flight

So he made his way down to the station
'Cause he heard the cops captured the thief
He wondered how this could have happened
And he found it real hard to believe

He asked the officer to see him
The Sargeant look up for a glance
The Officer said don't you worry
In court you'll sure get your chance

McGee said you don't get my meaning
It's something that could change my life
I need to know how he snuck in my home
Without ever disturbing my wife

hahaha. GREAT humor. And yes, that word Kibosh sure does sound like Kish kobob, doesn't it? Thanks for the visit to my poetry! I enjoyed seeing one of yours. I used Bobby Mcgee in a recent limerick.
