Maybe You Feel as I

   Maybe you feel as I
     wonder, wonder why, and 
   what the home page pics reflect

   I gaze on them and sigh
      Perhaps their place there they did buy --
    Just when and why did the change take effect

    Have they written the most or best poems   
      What is it that the algorithm owes 'em  

    Caren Krutsinger writes ten poems a day
      Sara Etgen Baker comments on hundreds ~ That's her way

    Why on Poetry Soup's Home Page did they not stay 
       And for what kind of poets have they made way   

     Perhaps you feel as I
        wonder, wonder why, 
     what the home page pics reflect

Regina Elliott February 7, 2026 at 2:28 PM Hi Gershon, in my humble opinion if would be a suggestion to rotate panels of photos representing different poets, like say every two weeks. This could give some poets who may want to be displayed a chance to be featured. I’ve never posted my photo, it would scare people perusing the website, lol! Shabbat Shalom ~

When I do poetry it feels good and i can proceed wiithout wondedring if i am doing it right. When it changes i can not adjust to the change. Paula Goldsmith February 5, 2026 at 8:29 AM I think it is called "Change." I keep saying, keep everything the way it is until I die. I hate change but no one ever asks me before they make the change. Yes, I wonder, wonder why. I had to relearn many new things here but I have it down now. Hooray!!! I thought the New rules were Only 5 new poems a day??? I need to double check.
