Maybe They See

I see a change
It scares me closer
To only the arms of another
If only there was another
Beleiving they finally see me
As I truly am

Still they never seem to know
What I always seem to tell them
Maybe they'll read my dusty book
Before it's thrown into fire
A young boy's broken dreams
Become a young man's shattered hopes

I seek someone
Stronger than I am
To pull me out of this Hell I'm in
And hopeful I found one sooner
Than later, which had been expected
They see now I feel
Yet they stil
Never seem to know
What I always seem to tell them
