Maybe Someday

Everyone has their own opinion, and everyone speaks their own mind,
And if the other person fails to share the same ideas as us, we often think them blind.
A million and one religions and we’ve got different races out our ying.
No wonder we fuss and argue, what else to the table can we bring?

No matter what the culture, no matter what our creed,
Put petty differences behind us, cause red is what we bleed.
These words they have no value, cause no one really cares,
Except for tiny babies whose innocence is like a breath of air.

I’ve read one day in the future a reckoning there will be,
Love and peace will fill the lands, no more wrongs will you ever see.
We’ll call each other brother or sister if that’s the case,
There won’t be any more barriers and there will only be one race.

Mr. Bing wonderfully written as ever. Pretty deep thought on a Saturday but I did it anyway.
