Maybe, It Is Not for Me

In dreams, I wander through a distant land,
Where every star promises a guiding light,
Yet shadows cast their veil upon my sight,
And doubts arise like waves upon the sand.

I’ve sought the path where hope and wishes blend,
But often find my steps in empty space,
The road ahead seems lost, without a trace—
Perhaps the dreams I chase are not to mend.

The heart may yearn for what it cannot clasp,
And fate may turn its gaze to other skies;
With heavy sighs, I loosen my firm grasp,
For not all paths are meant to materialize.

So here I stand, with acceptance in my plea—
Maybe, it is not for me.
