Maybe I'M Invisible

You speak but they can't hear
All of the times not being aware
That you've secretly shed a tear
Maybe I'm invisible

They look but they can't see
The bird that wants to be freed
From the cage that takes away its chance to be.
Maybe I'm invisible

How different would life seem
If they joined me in their team,
But a dream is just a dream.
Maybe I'm invisible.

If only a friend
Could comprehend
My existence and send
A hug of comfort to mend
My lonely heart.

But its easy to see
 And its easy to be
Invisible

Tanya, I can identify with this, so can my wife, and probably many of us here in the soup. During my school years, I feel as if I lived in a bubble, or just out of sync with time and the world---in essences Invisible. What changed for me, was me. I found other inviable people to be friends with---then I started helping people when and wherever I could. This put smiles on their faces, and on mine---and I found, there is nothing invisible about a Smile.

I really like this piece, and this subject is close to my heart still after many years gone by, and realize this, you are no longer invisible----'Cause I can see you !
