Maybe I'M Amazed

Maybe I'm Amazed

When I talk to you I often wonder
How you devoted your entire life
To me, I'm just a blunder
But you were Mother and wife.

Seven to feed and care for
Plus a man whom needed care
Dug deep always more
Reading,prayers forever there.

Educated and refined
Unknown by most,
Only with us you'd unwind
Kept your cards close.

Only those she raised
Know the sacrifices she gave.

Wonderful tribute to your mother. Sometimes they get no recognition, so it is nice that you appreciate all that she has done for you. I'd say her time was not wasted.
