Maybe Ill Go For a Walk

Listen to poem:
Maybe I’ll Go For A Walk David J Walker Maybe I’ll go For a walk Old men think such thoughts About How to spend time on A cold December morn Maybe I’ll walk In the park Disembark in a different form Same land different Time When the park was Mine And my friends No ends to the things We could do Even if a blue Norther came in Maybe I’ll go For a mile And maybe a mile more One mile every day until I need not go away anymore

David, I thoroughly enjoyed this poem. Yes, we older dudes sometimes get unreasonable notions, like walking a mile in bitter cold.

Thanks, Milton. I am guilty of such notions. Often, I seem to be walking down the streets of my youth
