Maybe I Know Now

Is it the way your hair fly in every direction;
or the crashing waves in your ever blue eyes.
What it is, exactly, I do not know.
Maybe the way you cry when you are down?
Or the taste of your lips on mine, peppermint.
Maybe, now I kind of know why.
It is probably the chills that surround me,
Every time your hand brushes against mine;
Or your melodious voice like a mothers lullaby.
I think I am pretty sure now.
it's the simple things that make me glad your mine
And little reasons that make my heart race
every time you smile.
