Maybe
I knew I should have let go but my hands only became stronger
Thinking maybe something will change
Like something’s got to give
My mind told me to let go but my hands pulled you back
I got used to the pain and now I can’t turn back
My lips told me to leave but I kept staying for one last kiss
In the moment it felt right but in my mind I knew I was wrong
Maybe tomorrow I will let go
p.s. maybe as a person I will finally accept myself in growth…
