One billion light years away is a sun around which planets may exist. Is life established there, Is it like or unlike us? It it carbon based, or something else? A wormhole, they say, can warp the space between us and them to shorten the impossible distance. A lot can happen in one billion years. The universe creates stars then destroys its creation. Will nothing be there after we travel the distance, when we are able; if we are able to travel the distance? Maybe we should just stay home; let them come to us!

This poem beautifully captures the vastness of the universe and the endless possibilities it holds. The contemplation of a sun one billion light years away sparks questions about the potential for life beyond our own planet and the nature of that life. The inquiry into whether it's similar or dissimilar to us, whether it's carbon-based or something entirely different, reflects a curiosity that resonates with the human desire to explore the unknown...
