Maybe

Maybe I wasn’t ready for,
the love that I was seeking?
Maybe I wasn’t ready for more
to receive what I’d been giving?

Maybe I let fear rule my mind…
afraid of losing something I wanted to find
Maybe I just saw that look in your eyes,
that sent me flying toward the skies

Chorus

So many maybe’s, all answers adrift
Onward on a boat with a mood I’m trying to lift
So many maybe’s, that I want to let go
Hoping and praying for the good times to flow


So, maybe I am finally ready now,
to transfer my courage to you and I somehow
Maybe, I hold a special place
in my heart where I keep seeing your face

Maybe you are now ready to see,
what I was trying to tell you about me
Maybe you will also want to fly too,
hand in hand, wings spread, in skies so blue
