May the Moonlight Serve As Our Mistletoe
May the moonlight serve as our mistletoe
Each time that the old year comes to an end.
Run quickly through the freshly fallen snow;
Retrieving a postcard sent from a friend.
Your ears grow numb as the winter wind blows–
Come warm yourselves up and roam through the town.
Hurrying through the stores before they close.
Return back home and set all your bags down.
In the warmth of our homes, we tell stories;
Spending quality time with those we love.
Time for people to make new memories.
May the Yuletide bring blessings from above.
As everybody travels, shops and dines,
Season’s Greetings to all who read these lines.
