May is when spring is springing,
and flowers bloom and wild birds are singing.
When the bees and butterflies prance,
and gardens grow and flowers dance,
and on Mother's Day I pray in a trance.

Mother lift up my heart,
make every sorrow and pain depart.
Fill my soul with divine peace,
as I grow you a garden showpiece,
and may the blue skies and sun not cease.
