May Showers
May showers fill the liquid lachrymal towers
For the residual rain rises to reveal the pain
And the flowers bloom as my sorrow devours
A stigmatic stain of the relentless running rain
After the rain subdues all you see is hellish hues
Of black and red for my love is savagely shred
My tears I hide within the desolate desert dried
Only the waters of May can take the anguish away
The rain has gone into a brand new dwelling dawn
My eyes reopen to a heart that’s bitterly broken
With a yielding yawn a paralyzed punitive pawn
For May waters have woven an ephemeral emotion.
