May Flowers
"I shall be like a tree planted by the river ... " Psalm 1:3
Memories stir my heart to sing,
Alive as the trembling vines,
Yesterday’s melodies on golden wings…
Falling like dewdrops, stirring
Laughing limbs, petals and seeds,
Overwhelmed by the song’s notes,
Whispering forever in the praises,
Endless seas of blooms, amazing me,
Reflecting the firefly’s gentle glow,
Soothing away April’s drizzling flow.
