Arden Gopela Poet Ghazal

May December Romance

Cold winter, sprouting spring, seasons they do not agree
                     Our love's defined inessential, citizens they do not agree
                
                     They talked of money and status - her intentions of love
                Happens in a heartbeat - whatever reasons they do not agree
                    
                    Have you ever been in love where you're blinded and equal?
                        Conflicting to compatible - horizons they do not agree

                              For my eyes are growing old and gap is too wide
            I was accused and she was judged, our emotions they do not agree

                          However, we'll sing and dance like nobody's watching
                  Better to be hated for than to break a person they do not agree.

Debbie Guzzi November 7, 2013 at 4:02 PM Arden dear you must decide if NOT AGREE is your repeated phrase all the words before it MUST RHYME ex: line 1 the word before NOT AGREE is DO, so in line 2 [WILL doesn't rhyme with DO] try repeating the whole phrase THEY DO NOT AGREE use seasons as your rhyming word, you'll have a lot of choices then. REASON, SEASON, TREASON,shun, begun, undone - it's ok if its not perfect rhyme] let me know if you want me to wait while you work on it okies? Its a spark we can't tell where to strike and sometimes, its drives you crazy when you found out that you fall in love to someone whom you are not imagining of.
